Description

What kind of GM am I? One who wants you to ask questions you don't have. One who wants you to think about situations and act in ways I could never predict. I love the improvisation of tabletop games and how they must be adapted into a grander story.

The Realms of Ava: A New World [2PM EDT][Sunday]

Paid game
The Game Master charges a fee to run the game.
You have spent your entire life gazing up at the suns, moons, and twilit wanderers knowing them only as the distant realms of the gods. You grew up believing magic was a myth reserved for high kings, court mystics, and rare legends... a gift granted to perhaps one in a million. Like all good lies, there is a hint of truth. The celestial bodies above are indeed divine, but magic is far from rare. It is actively policed and hidden away by a shadowy organization operating in plain sight across the continent of Uxlav. Now, an inexplicable spark has awakened that forbidden power within you. You are left with an impossible choice: cling to the fragile comfort of your ordinary life, or step forward into a reality where magic is real, dangerous, and directly in your hands. Cross paths with the Order of Silver Knights to learn the truth behind dragons; monstrous terrors that warp the fabric of reality itself and twist nearby mortals into servile thralls known as kobolds. Face the horrors that extraplanar entities inflict upon those touched by magic, uncover the ancient corruption leaking into the mortal realm, and journey from Uxlav's fractured surface to the dark depths of the world. You will not emerge the same person who entered. Campaign Overview System: D&D 5.5e (Non-PHB 2014 content allowed) Starting Level: Level 0 Session Length: 4 – 6 hours per session Schedule: Weekly long-term campaign (40+ sessions) Platform: Roll20 (VTT & Combat Maps) + Discord (Voice required, video optional) Tone: Dark Fantasy, Mystery, Planar Intrigue, Exploration Cost: $10 per session via paypal, or $30/month The Setting: The Realms of Ava's continent Uxlav The campaign begins on the continent of Uxlav, a vast realm still nursing the scars of three centuries of warfare following the fall of the Mund Empire. While an uneasy peace holds the surface together, political tension simmers beneath every border. In the heavens, the pantheon numbers only ten deities, though the dominant Church of Solaris preaches that their Lord of Light should be the only one. Across these fractured lands, dragons are not noble beasts of legend, but reality-altering anomalies whose mere presence rewrites the land and subjugates the mind. The Order of Silver Knights stands as the thin line between ordinary mortals and these living calamities, hunting rogue entities before their corruption spreads unchecked. Player Character Guidelines Level 0 Start: You begin as ordinary folk. Laborers, apprentices, scouts, or scoundrels, before the spark of power alters your path. Character Backgrounds: Grounded roots within Mund’s successor nations (such as the imperial remnants of Oram, the industrial halls of Brevis Solea, the river republic of Flumund, or the wild borders of Luctus). Species: All standard options are available; personal histories and world perceptions are tied to local culture rather than cosmic spoilers.

The Snakewood [2pm EDT] [Friday]

Paid game
The Game Master charges a fee to run the game.
What do you want most from a weekly game? Deep roleplay? Tactical, high-stakes combat? Genuine player agency where your choices reshape the world? Dynamic, fully realized NPCs with real motivations? If that’s what you’re looking for, welcome to the table. My goal every week is to deliver a cinematic, bespoke session that respects your investment, integrates your backstories, and keeps you counting down the days until next game night. The Pitch: Terror in the Snakewood In the storied world of the Forgotten Realms, ogre raids are an unfortunate reality of the frontier. Brutes driven by unending hunger and simple cunning, they are usually manageable by seasoned local guards. Not this time. The jewel of the Sunset Vale, Berdusk, finds itself besieged by an organized horde striking from hundreds of miles to the south the dense, cursed forest of the Snakewood. Worse still, blades shatter against their hides and arrows fail to draw blood. Whispers spread of lycanthropic infection running rampant through the monstrous horde, breeding giant, apex predators immune to mundane steel. Desperate to protect trade routes, farmlands, and innocent lives, the High Magistrate of Berdusk has issued an open call for mercenaries, spellcasters, and seasoned tacticians. Whether the solution demands the slaughter of the werewolf packs within the woods, diplomatic parley with monstrosities, or delving into dark planar secrets  the city simply needs results. What Kind of DM Am I?  Dynamic Encounters: Combat is never just a room full of stat blocks trading hit points. Expect dynamic environments, shifting objectives, and tactical depth where brute force is rarely the only, or best solution. Living, Breathing NPCs: Every faction, ally, and villain has distinct motivations, philosophies, and secrets. They react organically to your choices, forming alliances, holding grudges, or pursuing their own hidden agendas. Player-Driven Storytelling: Clever plans, outside-the-box thinking, and unexpected choices are actively rewarded. The campaign's direction bends around your decisions, not a rigid script. Tone & Stakes: Heavily inspired by deep mythologies, grim fantasy, and character-driven serialized drama. While I love table humor and heartfelt moments, actions carry real stakes. Character death is always handled collaboratively, fairly, and with narrative weight. Campaign Details & Character Creation System: D&D 5.5/5e Starting Level: Level 3 Starting Equipment: 150 gp for mundane gear, one mundane item you purchase is an uncommon. Party Hooks: Local mercenaries, citizens protecting Berdusk, or traveling adventurers seeking fortune and renown. Ability Scores: Decided collaboratively during Session 0 (Standard Array, High-Powered Modified Array, or Point Buy/Rolled options available). Platform: Discord (Voice-only for DM; players welcome to use video if preferred) and Roll20 for maps/tokens.   You want HOW much?  Rate: $10 per session via Paypal(Average session length: 3.5 to 5 hours) Paid DMing isn't just about showing up to roll dice it’s an investment in a dedicated, high-effort experience: Mastery & Prep: Backed by over 10,000 hours of tabletop experience, with hours of custom preparation, curated maps, bespoke handouts, and personalized story beats poured into every single session. Reliability: Dedicated scheduling, limited flake factor, and availability between sessions. No-Risk Guarantee: If a scheduled session ever cuts short under 3 hours on my end, that session is completely free.  Frequently Asked Questions          Are Session 0 and trial sessions free? Yes. Both Session 0 (safety tools, campaign tone, expectations, and character synergy) and a complete Session 0.5 (gameplay    prologue) are 100% free of charge to ensure the table dynamic is a great fit for everyone.         Is this game LGBTQIA+ friendly? Absolutely. This table is an inclusive, welcoming, and safe space for all players.         Why voice-only for the DM? I prioritize clear audio delivery and private comfort, so I do not use a webcam. Players are free to use cameras or remain voice-only based on their own comfort.         How flexible is the schedule? The set weekday is fixed once locked in, but session start times can have some flexibility depending on party availability.         What are the next steps? Drop an application or comment below with your experience level, what kind of character you'd love to explore, and your favorite aspect of TTRPGs!
