Description

We have been happily playing for over a year and are recruiting because we're losing 2 beloved players to inter-city moves. (How dare real life get in the way?! Unacceptable.) We did not know each other before we started playing but have been extremely lucky with our group so far. Are you our next party member? Please see below and reach out if this sounds like your vibe.
  • We play in person every other Sunday at 3pm, in Rågsved (~4 hours). We are looking for someone who says, "yes, that schedule sounds awesome".
  • 5E (2024 rules). We are more story+character-driven than mechanics-driven; we have some serious elements in the stories, but our games devolve into laughter and chaos more often than not. (If you are looking for something more serious in either tone or mechanics, I think you might get frustrated by our playstyles.)
  • Any English-speaking adult is welcome. The games are primarily in English, though we sprinkle in other languages. Our ages range over 2 decades, more women than men at the moment.
  • We are playing an extremely AU variant of Rime of the Frostmaiden (Icewind Dale) - by like the 3rd game, the only thing in common with canon was the names of the towns. So no worries if you are "already spoiled" on the ending - we are deep into homebrew territory.
  • Everyone is currently level 11; we're at a good inflection point in the story to bring on new people. The plan is to go up to 20 in order to battle Hastur (with help from Auril and Bahamut, of course). With this, I think it might be a bit rough if you've literally never played D&D before, but by no means do you have to be an expert. (See first point about the table being more story+character driven.)
  • We have super extensive notes and would 100% get you up to speed on the (zany) storyline if you are joining the game.
If this sounds interesting to you, please reach out to me! We're probably looking to add someone for the 1 November game. (Maybe 18 October, but that might be too ambitious.)

I lean towards more "fun" and "theatrical" as a game master. I really enjoy leaning into the improv aspect and tend to be more story and character focused than mechanics-focused. That said, there are usually 1-2 big combats in every game.

Homebrew

Newbie friendly
New players are welcome, and nobody expects you to know the rules beforehand.
This is a beginner friendly and open campaign where the players get to decide on what they want to do whilst playing.  The world lore revolves around the dead 3, which are the 3 gods that share the throne of death after the old god of the dead resigned. The world has and will slowly become worse and worse off whilst the dead 3 fight for power in the material plane. Additionally I am trying to have a kind of psychological horror feeling when in comes to this campaign  We play for around 3-4 hours, often with a short break and every session starts at 8pm cet, or to be very specific, Swedish time. We use a discord channel for verbal communication during our sessions and it also works for keeping notes, recaps and just general hanging out with the other players outside of sessions If you're interested, please send me a short message request, maybe a short description of you: pronouns, age and most importantly how you are as a player. And when I see your message I will accept and give you my discord username for continued contact and in order to add you to our server channel If this campaign isn't for you, I wish you the best of luck finding one you want to and can join, have a wonderful day/night! ❤️

Need a DM?

Paid game
The Game Master charges a fee to run the game.
Do you already have 3–5 friends who want to play D&D, but the campaign never actually gets off the ground because nobody has the time or experience to DM it consistently? This is specifically for groups like that. I run weekly online D&D campaigns for existing friend groups. You keep playing with your friends; I handle the DM side: preparation, rules guidance, campaign structure, NPCs, encounters, worldbuilding, and keeping the campaign moving every week. One of my current groups described their situation this way: they had tried for years to get a proper campaign running, but scheduling and not having an experienced DM kept stopping them. After joining, their player said: “You are paying for preparation, reliability, experience, storytelling, and someone taking responsibility for keeping the campaign running.” The game itself is character-focused and flexible. Your decisions matter, your characters can shape the story, and beginners are completely welcome. I also help with character creation and rules instead of expecting everyone to arrive as an expert. DETAILS System: D&D 5e / 2024 rules Players: Best for an existing group of 3–5 Format: Online Voice: Discord VTT: Roll20 Schedule: Weekly Session Length: 3–4 hours Price: $20 USD per player, per session Campaign Options: Custom Faerûn / Curse of Strahd / Tomb of Annihilation / other options depending on what your group wants If your group has been saying “we should really play D&D” for months—or years—send me: Number of players Your timezones Days/times that work for the group Experience level What kind of campaign you want I’ll tell you honestly whether I have a slot that fits.

The Silver Sharks West March

West Marches / Living World
One world and a big pool of players, but no fixed party - whoever signs up that week is who plays.
The Silver Sharks is a Dungeons & Dragons 5.5 edition West Marches campaign set within the mysterious (homebrew) Crooked Isles. The theme of this West March is sailors and pirates! The Silver Sharks is an adventurer/monster hunter guild settled in New Haven. This West March is also a part of a ethnography master's project!
