The Souls of the Second Flame

We are looking for 1-2 players to join an ongoing game of Daggerheart somewhat based on the Witherwild campaign frame with other inspirations.  We play every other Sunday early afternoon in person near Copenhagen (Hillerod). Get in touch if you are interested in joining.

Set in a fabled Age of Rhapsody — paying homage to the Bronze Age, Greek tragedy and comedy, and classical myth — Echoes of Fate is a homebrew Campaign Frame for Daggerheart exploring lies and prophecies, the making of myths, and what it costs to break destiny. You are not the hero the epic was written for. No prophecy names you. No Muse has claimed your story...yet. So what do you make of a life the songs haven't told yet? If you are a fan of myth retellings such as EPIC: the Musical, A Thousand Ships, The Song of Achilles, come sit by the fire. Some notes on the setting: •  The gods are present but distracted — drawing their eye may bring you greatness, or ruin. Or maybe you'll be drawn to the Mysteries instead? •  No prophecy protects you: your choices ripple outward, and could alter canon myths and even the course of the war itself. •  All stories are welcome, this table is LGBTQ+ friendly. •  New to tabletop, Daggerheart, or Greek myth? This table is beginner-friendly. And no Classics degree required, just curiosity. Sessions will be paid through StartPlaying.com, at 25$ per session. About me: - I've been a Dungeon Master for almost 8 years and I have plenty of experience in guiding new players. I prefer Theater of the Mind with minimal VTT support. - Your story will matter and I love a long, narrative background I can weave into the main story. - I do character voices!  - I also do character artworks :D Safety tools: Session 0, Lines and Veils, Consent checklist and X cards. I prefer to be honest in advance: Echoes of Fate draws from real life in addition to myth. Slavery was present in Ancient Greece, as was mysogyny, war and violence. You will be able to challenge these in-game through your character, or ask me to avoid mentioning them and I will do my best to do so.

We are a group looking for 1-2 new players to join us for an upcoming daggerheart campaign that takes place in my new homebrew setting of Insonja. A mysterious supernatural event caused 3/4th of the world's population to disapear in a flash and then the world fell apart to war, famine and monsters resulting in its current post-apocolyptic state. The players are survivors who reside in the former capital of the world's greatest super power, the imperium of Reem. What survived of the capital and the heartland of the imperium was taken over by a cult that worships a group of angelic beings that are known as the Heralds. The rules of the cult are strict and they expect everyone who resides in its domain to follow said rules regardless of own opinion on religion. However the capital of Reem is one of the few safe areas in the world with civilization. Will this cult provide the safety and salvation that it claims to offer, or is it just replacing the chaos of the wasteland with a different form of evil?  The plan is to run the game as long as players keep interest in it. While I am new to running daggerheart I do have plenty of experience running dnd 5e and other systems.  I have a zero tolerance policy for bigotry and bullying.
