Session 0 is also a great way to manage expectations before the game starts. If due to any reason a problem arise, I will have another session 0 to remind everyone of boundaries and safety techniques. Plus in session 0 we will be going in detail about kinks and what everyone is fine with wants to see or don't see. I do breaks in the sessions to let my players have a chance to think, let them have a time to rest mentally for 5 or 10 minutes, or how ever long my players need, so they know they are able to get something to eat or go have a toilet break During intense sessions I inform and remind everyone that my Dms are always open so they are aware if they do feel uncomfortable at one point and I am not aware and don't want to say it outright i will take it seriously and make sure to keep the player comfort a priority. At the end of intense sessions I always check in on my players to make sure they are okay
