Description

The Absolute has left Baldur's Gate in ruins, it's people hopeful for a future without the Dead Three. But deep in it's forests: a new evil seems to have crawled out of hell. Animals have grown exceedingly violent, citizens have gone missing & the Druidic Forests seem to be sinking. Rumor has it, a Fiend of Mammon, Archdevil of Greed, is behind it. If it's true, then perhaps the potential for riches has gotten you on the job. Or perhaps, something more personal: as someone you know has gone missing too. You're heroes from the events of Baldur's Gate III, locals that have had enough of the misfortunes, or strangers that banded together. Either way, the ruined city can't afford to send anyone to this hell but you. And for a Beast is strongest in the Den where it sleeps, you'll have to keep your presence secret for as long as possible in order to survive. 🔥The Heist. A Dungeon Crawl emphasizing Stealth, Assassination, & Uncovering Mysteries to Survive. Getting found means fighting above your pay grade 🔥Challenging Enemies. Monsters aren't just Hit Sponges: learn weaknesses, prepare countermeasures, & play unfair - because the enemy certainly won't 🔥Magicraft. Gather Monster essences & craft potions, weapon coatings & magic items to turn the tides of battle 🔥Fear & Hunger. Log in to viewEmbody the drama of risking your life with a Critical Injury / Madness Coin-flip system This game is $15, and begins at 6pm PST on Tuesdays. Campfire embers are the last thing you remember. Whether you were traveling alone or guarding a merchant caravan, the wilderness suddenly went dead silent. Then came the masked attackers—too many, too coordinated, and overwhelmingly lethal. Your camp was slaughtered. But you? You were taken. You awaken in darkness, bound in heavy chains deep underground. If you ever want to feel the sun on your face again, you and your fellow captives must forge a desperate alliance, break free, and survive an escape that will spiral into a world-spanning epic. PRICE: $20 (through PayPal or Venmo) / Session —> Session 0 is free and the first official session is 50% off. The price is negotiable, but everyone at the table's gotta pay the same thing so it's fair.   I also offer "bundles" at a discounted rate. WHAT YOU GET: —> you get to embark on a full homebrew campaign spanning from levels 2 to high teens (possibly even level 20) campaign with personal character arcs tailored to your character’s backstories woven in with the overall narrative. —> there is also an artist in my server that will do a frww character portrait art for each new character in the server SCHEDULE: Sundays (weekly) starting at 10am PST. Games will run 4-5 hours. ---> I will be running this game additional days of the week. Same campaign, different players on the following days and times: --------> Tuesdays starting 1030am PST --------> Wednesdays starting at 1030am PST --------> Thursday (Bi Weekly) starting at 230 PST --------> Fridays starting at 1030am PST Just tying to fill up one table at a time. WHERE: the game will be played on Foundry VTT whith voice chat done through Discord. —> I have a new server for the purposes of hosting my games as well as creating a new D&D community SAFETY FIRST: A supportive environment is a priority. Players will fill out a quick RPG Comfort Questionnaire featuring a Lines & Veils section to ensure everyone has a safe, fantastic time at the virtual table. OTHER DETAILS: —> To perfectly fit the unique history and regions of Wysteria, your starting character must be a non-PHB (Player's Handbook) species. This only for your first character, —> we will be using the primarily the 2024 ruleset with some favored 2014 mechanics in addition to various homebrew rules that will be discussed at Session 0 Ready to see the sun again? Send a direct message to @acedespadas on Discord or directly here for to inquire for more. If you’re a great fit for the table, I’ll send over the lore primers and everything you need to start building your character! A BIT ABOUT ME: Hello, my name is Aron, I’m 34 and I started playing this game as the forever DM just before COVID hit and have been DMing multiple weekly games since. I am for the most part fairly introverted which this hobby has helped deal with, and while I may not do all the little funny voices (it’s a thing I’m working on) I’m a sucker for the Rule of Cool and a good story! And what better story then one you build together as a collaboration with other like minded individuals?! Outside of D&D my interests revolve heavily around music, movies, and other general nerd things

So it took me longer than expected but i am finally getting stuff together for my own campaign. Maps and minis and stuff. I would prefer to have players who can commit to regular play but i can easily work with absences due to the nature of the campaign. I am still looking for around 60/40 roleplay/combat.  I am willing to do a short one or two session adventure in my setting if people want to feel things out first. I intend to rent out the private room for sessions. I don't know if this matters to people but I have 0 desire to use AI in any of my campaign so if that matters to you there you go. A summary of the setting and what's going on as relayed by Arius, the figure with the bow in the images:  Long ago, when gods ruled the land, and men sailed the sea, when the earth trembled and the sky broke, a great beast rose up in the shadows, and cast the world into perpetual twilight. As the shadows grew long, horrible monsters rose from them. For many long years, the gods fought against this darkness, but they struggled. They cast their holy light upon the beast, but the brighter it burned, the darker the shadows became.  Finally, in the year 482 of the common era, Lifskona, the goddess of the sun, queen of the heavens, made a deal with the men of the sea. They would be allowed dominion over the land, in exchange for driving the beasts away, so that the gods could direct their power towards their true foe. Man would be blessed with great magic to aid in this war.  Their attention no longer divided, the gods soon succeeded in binding their foe, and banishing him from the mortal realm, ending the long twilight. It was not so easy for man. Even with their new power, the tribes of the sea struggled to gain ground against the monsters we call the Drak.  What the gods percieved as a short conflict was a multigenerational war of attrition. Neither side gained ground and the fields of Flodlan ran red with blood.  It seemed the violence would never end. Many considered returning to the sea, and a happier world. It was only 20 years ago that the Namea appeared from the south to lend us their aid. Mysterious and wise, they turned the tide at the brink of defeat, and together with the men of the sea, pushed the Drak west into the desert.  Ram Anu, our king and the man who led us in that final push, rode back different. Nobody who rode with him will speak of what occurred.  6 years ago, the king rode out again, to end the Drak menace once and for all. He has never returned.  If that piques your interest, let me know. I know i've posted about this twice now. It's just taken a while to get things going.
