The mists are calling. Will you answer? There is a land where the sun has forgotten how to shine, where the dead seldom rest, and where every whispered prayer may be answered by something far worse than the gods. Welcome to Barovia. Beyond the choking mists, ancient evils stir. The villagers bar their doors against the night, wolves stalk the forgotten roads, and somewhere high above it all, a dark lord watches from his castle. But something is changing. Old prophecies are stirring. Strange signs mark the heavens. And the threads of fate are being drawn tighter around those unfortunate enough to wander into this cursed domain. In Barovia, death is not always the end. Sometimes, it is merely the beginning. Curse of Strahd: The Devil Ascendant is a reimagined journey into Ravenloft, weaving classic gothic horror, psychological terror, dark mysteries, and unexpected twists into a campaign where your choices carry consequences—and not every monster is what it seems. Whether you are a veteran of Ravenloft or entering the mists for the very first time, do not expect the familiar to remain familiar. I wasn't finding enough games to join that had everything I needed and that would also get back to me. So, I decided I'd try to find the right people for me this way! Hello, I am Grill! I am a silly gal and you can find some basic info about me in my player profile ^^ I am not the GM, and I am willing to let the future GM have full creative freedom for the story. All I ask is that the campaign we do be suitable for both teens and adults. And please let me be able to be silly and whimsical! Perhaps a fairy!!! Homebrew is very much allowed!
