Heroes of Destiny

Hi! My name's Caleb. I'm a queer 33 y/o artist by trade (and also for fun). I have an established group of other artists and creatives, and we're specifically hoping to find a fellow artist to join us. No specific skill level in mind, we just really like the idea of playing with other like-minded people! I'm running Curse of Strahd! We have one very established character (coming over from a previous CoS campaign that ended very early) and a few character ideas floating around, but we're all very much in the beginning stages of forming everything. We're looking to start playing early next year, giving us good time to plan, bond, and also avoid any holiday scheduling conflicts! We make playlists, art, moodboards, do written RP for downtime, etc. Very engaged group! I build strong narratives, and incorporate player backstory into the main plot as much as I can. Curse of Strahd is lethal, and you can easily stumble into a TPK if you don't take it seriously. So please keep that in mind. We're looking for someone who wants to take the game very seriously, while having fun. We have a diverse, queer table and we're looking for others who fit in. We haven't started the campaign yet! Please note some of the following: - This game most likely has this static time slot: 7PM-11PM EST, every other Wednesday. The day could potentially change, but it is most likely going to be the Wednesday. And no, the timeslot unfortunately will not be changed. - late 20's-40's in age - looking for people 30+ ideally. Do not apply if you are a teenager or in your very early 20s, your application will be deleted immediately. - roughly 60/40, roleplay/combat ratio - romance, flirtation and fade-to-black intimacy is always permitted at my table. Everything else will be table veils and lines. - my tables usually have a species list (humans and variants, all elves, genasi, tieflings, changelings always being standard, but I am open to homebrew and other suggestions.) - Discord for VC, Foundry VTT - D&D 5e - zero tolerance for AI in any part of your character creation - while sometimes it can't be helped, I am looking for someone who definitely wants to see this through to the end. Please be committed to the game. It will not be short. - Curse of Strahd has many difficult themes. Hello there! We are a group of four (3 players plus the dm) currently about to start a new campaign and are looking for one or two more players to join! We usually play early saturdays and try to keep it as regular as possible though life does sometimes get in the way. The games take place on Foundry VTT and Discord. We all have differnt levels of experience so being a beginner should be no trouble at all.  All that being said, we're all dedicated players who especially like character development, roleplay and lore aspects of the game but really enjoy it all and just want to play more D&D. Lastly, everyone is 18+ and we would like to keep it so especially since this module does have darker themes. TCR is D&D 5e with re-balances to make it more fair and fun. we operate like an MMO, you simply create your character then you can sign up to join any quest. you keep all loot and level up after each quest. You can have multiple characters if you want to try different set up out. We have 13 classes with a total of 170+ subclasses. We have re-worked the races and plan to add more as we go. if we dont have something that your looking for let us know :D We use discord for voice and Foundry VTT for battle maps, rules and character creation. The VTT is heavily modified to be easier to use and more automated so you can focus more on the combat and roleplaying rather than finding stuff in a clustered system. We have a group of active GM's throwing out quests on a weekly basis. Alot of these quests are also part of a larger quest series that lets you delve into more lore and investigations.
