Feedback Loop | Phasmophobia Inspired Horror One-Shot     Genre: Psychological Horror / Paranormal Investigation / Atmospheric Thriller     Tone: Slow-burn dread, high-stakes mystery, high tension     System: Dungeons & Dragons 5.5e (2024)     Experience Level: Beginner-friendly & Experienced players welcome!     Platform: StartPlaying, Roll20, Discord     Cost: $10/person     Date & Time:  Friday, Nov. 14 at 6:00pm EST Step beyond the threshold of a sprawling, forgotten estate where reality has fractured at the seams. You and your crew are paranormal investigators taking on a lucrative bounty, armed with specialized arcane equipment designed to catch things that refuse to stay dead. But as the heavy front door slams shut behind you, the air grows uncomfortably cold, and you realize the house is not just abandoned: it is actively watching, waiting, and rewriting the rules themselves. Feedback Loop is a slow-burn psychological horror adventure designed for players who love dread, tension, and atmospheric mystery. As you explore the decaying halls, every creak of the floorboards and crackle of static tells a story of a space trapped out of alignment. What to Expect:     📻 Tactical Ghost-Hunting: Use specialized arcane gear to track and decode anomalies within the walls.     🕯️ Psychological Endurance: Panic costs you dearly. Every misstep chips away at your sanity, forcing a careful balance between speed and survival.     🎭 Immersive Atmosphere: Dynamic soundscapes, eerie maps, and a narrative that pushes back against your presence. Can your team uncover the truth before the house claims your sanity, or will you become just another permanent fixture in the loop? How to Join: Seats are limited!     Concept:    Nameless and Forsaken, you trudge through an endless Dungeon. A Rougelike experience.  You crawl out of the ground, shivering and confused; a Torch is  the only light.  A body lay before you, A Sword  besides it. You are not alone in the Dark. Tone: Forboding and unforgiving. You bleed and fall, the poison fills your lungs & darkens your eyes. The Antitoxin in your hand, your guts in the other. This was lighly inspired by the works of Plastiboo, I see this setting as a chance for players to play a classic dungeon crawl that is combat focused with exploration being dangerous and not always rewarding. You will die in this Dungeon, many times. That is the point.  How deep can you go before you wounds are too much and you buckle under the weight of your armor?

Hello hello! I am Matthew. I am a new DM building a homebrew world, and I want your help filling in its history. Before my main campaign begins, I am running a series of one-shots set in "Year 0". This is when an apocalyptic cataclysm nearly ends the world. The future campaign will be set centuries afterward. When? I run my business from home and have a family, so M-F during the day works best. These one-shots will take place Tuesday through Thursday, between 9:00am and 2:00pm Central time (chicago area). If you work from home, work nights, or live in a time zone where this is your evening, this table is for you! What is it? You will play low- to mid-level heroes surviving the chaos of a larger conflict. You might be pulling off a desperate heist for a magical artifact, escorting refugees to safety, or holding the line against impossible odds. All of this happens under the shadow of the First King, whose mysterious sacrifice during this era saved the realm but cursed his bloodline forever. Legacy? Yup If you survive, I have a "Fortune & Fate" roll planned to help determine your character's epilogue. Though you will have plenty of creative control over their outcomes. Survive or not - your characters will become the myths, ancestors, and founders in the larger campaign!
