Description

Hi! My name is Kenny and I'm looking for 2 more players in New York City to commit to a medium term (1ish year) Daggerheart campaign set in the Witherwild campaign frame (for fun, not to be recorded). It will be a learning experience for myself, as I've not played Daggerheart yet, so no experience required - we're all gonna learn! Loosely following my style of GMing, I'm looking for players who are seeking a serious toned table that focuses on dramatic narratives, and is hungry for a table that encourages immersion! LGBTQAI+, BIPOC, and/or femme players highly welcome! The Game Master My name is Kenny Mai, and I am a professional game master and the creator of Fables of Frost & Fur, an award-winning actual play podcast. Feel free to check here for a quick vibe check: Log in to view . In the TTRPG community, I am known for pushing TTRPGs as a storytelling format, blending my experience in theater and writing to create immersive experiences at the table. In real life, I'm just a Viet-American crazy cat man who likes horror movies with his wife. The Pitch I'm looking for 2 players who are willing to join this table in learning Daggerheart, a narrative-focused TTRPG. In that spirit, the campaign will not only be a homebrewed, but bespoke to the PCs that you and your fellow players create. Here is a copy and pasted pitch of the world you'd be inhabiting, from the core rulebook itself: Fanewick was once a place of great abundance and peace— dangerous to those unfamiliar with the land, but a cornucopia to those who respected its ways. When Haven invaded the wilds and forced the land into eternal spring, a dangerous bloom known as the Witherwild took hold and now threatens the lives of all who live there. In a Witherwild campaign, you’ll play unlikely heroes from humble beginnings who are reckoning with their newfound duty to save Fanewick’s people from dangerous corruption. Tone & Feel The table is hoping to explore the mechanics unique to Daggerheart and push how they influence storytelling. To that end, this table will be serious about immersion and roleplaying. Not that there won't be laughs! Fun, lighthearted moments will be mirrored by players and their PCs, but feel earned by the story being told. Themes The premise of the Witherwild revolves around two primary cultures, clashing against the backdrop of immeasurable tragedy. We will touch on themes of colonization, survival, and the lengths one goes to save their loved ones. But it won't be a grimdark world! There will be plenty of room for hope, forgiveness, and heroism. Logistics We are aiming for: Weekly sessions 2.5-3 hour target session lengths Friday evening - Sunday evening flexibility Location: an apartment building in Long Island City (Court Square subway stops). We have a lovely bookable conference room in our amenities floor that has a nice, big table and a big TV that I'm 73% confident I can get to work. While we are not in-session, we will communicate primarily over Discord. Safety & Expectations Safety and planning tools for the campaign include but are not limited to: Lines and Veils X-cards Stars and Wishes Players will be expected to respect each other and the GM. This includes, but is not limited to: being kind, observing the right pronouns, not talking over people, and assuming good intentions. Next Steps Please fill out this Google form: Log in to view which requires a Discord handle. Please do not be intimated by any questions! I am just genuinely curious about the folks who are interested! I will reach out over Discord, then schedule a video call for initial vibe checks, then schedule meeting in a public place for in-person vibe checks. Thanks for making it to the end of this lengthy post! Looking forward to hearing from you all!

Daggerheart | What came after the fall.

Newbie friendly
New players are welcome, and nobody expects you to know the rules beforehand.
Homebrew
House rules, a custom setting, or a system the Game Master wrote themselves.
We are a group looking for 1-2 new players to join us for an upcoming daggerheart campaign that takes place in my new homebrew setting of Insonja. A mysterious supernatural event caused 3/4th of the world's population to disapear in a flash and then the world fell apart to war, famine and monsters resulting in its current post-apocolyptic state. The players are survivors who reside in the former capital of the world's greatest super power, the imperium of Reem. What survived of the capital and the heartland of the imperium was taken over by a cult that worships a group of angelic beings that are known as the Heralds. The rules of the cult are strict and they expect everyone who resides in its domain to follow said rules regardless of own opinion on religion. However the capital of Reem is one of the few safe areas in the world with civilization. Will this cult provide the safety and salvation that it claims to offer, or is it just replacing the chaos of the wasteland with a different form of evil?  The plan is to run the game as long as players keep interest in it. While I am new to running daggerheart I do have plenty of experience running dnd 5e and other systems.  I have a zero tolerance policy for bigotry and bullying. I am on the autism spectrum and we have LGBT+ players in the group. If interested in the game send my a message on discord, my username is billbroston. We will try to schedule a chat with me and the rest of the current group to decide who will be the ones to be invited to the campaign. We plan on having a session at least every other week on Wednesda.

🏝️Welcome to Obojima!🏝️

Paid game
The Game Master charges a fee to run the game.
Hello, I am Chris and trying to make some extra cash on the side to aid with some financial struggles, that being said- Thank you for reading and I hope to see you in Obojima- My new game about "leisure" fantasy where the players are wandering around a bright, colorful world- with mysterious and deep, emotion challenges in their journey! The cost of this game will be $12 / Month, or $3 / Session - With the First Session Free! 🍵 About the Game🍵 Welcome to 🏝️Obojima🏝️ a vibrant island overflowing with ancient spirits, cozy coastal towns, and forgotten ruins. Deeply inspired by Dungeon Meshi, Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End, and the wondrous worlds of Studio Ghibli, this game focuses on cozy, character-driven adventure. We’ll focus on local mysteries, Japanese folklore-inspired myths, foraging for potion ingredients, and cooking meals around the campfire as your party builds closer bonds along the way. If you enjoy (or want to practice) deep role-play, meaningful character moments, and exploring a living world where the journey matters just as much as the destination, this table is for you. Encounters are treated more like puzzles to solve rather than brutal fights to the death, magic feels lived-in, and the stakes are deeply personal. Grab your gear, bring a good appetite, and let’s tell a great story together!  🎲 What I Offer as a DM     6+ years of DMing experience across multiple TTRPG systems.     Full willingness to teach the system and TTRPGs in general no prior experience needed!     LGBTQIA+ friendly space with a dedicated Session 0 to establish safety tools and expectations. 📋 Requirements & How to Join     18+     Discord account (for audio/text) & Google account (for character sheets)     Press that Contact Me button, or send me a friend request and DM on Discord Expressing your Interest!

Greek-myth campaign for Daggerheart

Roleplay focused
Conversation, character and story take up most of the table time.
Newbie friendly
New players are welcome, and nobody expects you to know the rules beforehand.
"Five years ago, a thousand ships answered Agamemnon's call and departed Greece to bring about Ilium's ruin. The greatest heroes, the mightiest weapons, and the most mythical stories are somewhere else.  You are among who remains.  I am Homer, and I will sing of you, amongst Other Names." Set in a fabled Age of Rhapsody — paying homage to the Bronze Age, Greek tragedy and comedy, and classical myth — Echoes of Fate is a homebrew Campaign Frame for Daggerheart exploring lies and prophecies, the making of myths, and what it costs to break destiny. You are not the hero the epic was written for. No prophecy names you. No Muse has claimed your story...yet. So what do you make of a life the songs haven't told yet? If you are a fan of myth retellings such as EPIC: the Musical, A Thousand Ships, The Song of Achilles, come sit by the fire. Some notes on the setting: •  The gods are present but distracted — drawing their eye may bring you greatness, or ruin. Or maybe you'll be drawn to the Mysteries instead? •  No prophecy protects you: your choices ripple outward, and could alter canon myths and even the course of the war itself. •  All stories are welcome, this table is LGBTQ+ friendly. •  New to tabletop, Daggerheart, or Greek myth? This table is beginner-friendly. And no Classics degree required, just curiosity. Sessions will be paid through StartPlaying.com, at 25$ per session. About me: - I've been a Dungeon Master for almost 8 years and I have plenty of experience in guiding new players. I prefer Theater of the Mind with minimal VTT support. - Your story will matter and I love a long, narrative background I can weave into the main story. - I do character voices!  - I also do character artworks :D Safety tools: Session 0, Lines and Veils, Consent checklist and X cards. I prefer to be honest in advance: Echoes of Fate draws from real life in addition to myth. Slavery was present in Ancient Greece, as was mysogyny, war and violence. You will be able to challenge these in-game through your character, or ask me to avoid mentioning them and I will do my best to do so.
