Description

Mourndaer is a large continent home to numerous peoples, species, and factions that do not always get along. The Rabi are one such people, frog-like humanoids who have made the vast marshes of the south their home; the Nation of Merre.  Most Rabi are peaceful by nature, and very spiritually inclined. They travel the waterways in floating wooden settlements, taking only what they need to survive. With a strong sense of community, the villages of Merre are some of the most peaceful and crime-free in the world. Our party will begin in Croara, another Rabi village where nothings ever happens. Until you arrive, that is..
This is a homebrew world of mine that's been in development for a little bit now called Terraquin. It's an expansive dark fantasy world inspired by some of my favourite fantasy media, like Warhammer, Lord of the Rings, and GoT, to name a few. My DMing style is very rule of cool and narratively focused, so if that sounds like something you'd be interested in, shoot me a message and I'll give you more details. Thanks!

Welcome to The Western Frontier, adventurer! You've joined the best of the best here at SINC, CA! Saints of Interplanar Navigational Charters, Chalmers Acolytes. I'll be your Operations Overseer, Mr. Sullivan. We're on the fringe of the Imperium's reach here in Port Chalmers, so while you may be wanted or otherwise watched back home, here I don't care what your crimes were - Only that you do the job you've signed up for. And that job is to explore, document, make connections with the locals, and get into places you probably shouldn't be! Danger? Adventure? Relics, artifacts and ruins?? Strange beasts and plants?? Oh, it's out there, adventurer.. And the longer you wait, the more you miss out on! --------- The Setting: - The Western Frontier is a West Marches style of D&D! - We are largely based in Australia/NZ, and as such we play at times convenient for us! - We have somewhere between 13-16 active players, most have two currently active PC's! - Our experience with this style of D&D and with D&D as a whole varies! - Session scheduling and game direction is driven largely by players! This is an open world sandbox style of game! Game Info: - We use variant rules long/short resting. Short rests are now 8 hours (overnight), long rests take a week of downtime back in The Town, or another fortified position. (Settlements, Inns, camps - places with structures for you to sleep in and an armed guard/watch). - Resources matter! Spell components, ammo, carry weight, and rations are all tracked! Character Creation: - No twilight cleric and no variant humans. All PC's begin with a free feat and a non-combat uncommon item. - We use Discord for voice/text chat, Owlbear Rodeo for battle maps, & D&D Beyond/google sheets for character sheets. - Homebrew must be approved by a GM. Players: - 18+ people only! Firm on this, sorry gang! We range in age from about 19 to the late thirties! - LGBT+ folk expressly welcome! - No bigots, -ias or -isms, thank you! - All experience levels welcome, we're learning to run and play this style of game too, so we don't mind teaching you on the way! - Interested? Might be the game for you? Get in touch! Message me with: - A little about you! *Age, exp with d&d, timezone and typical times/days you'd play at/during (scheduling reasons) - A rough character idea! - Things you think you'd be interested in doing as a player! - Your discord username! - Times and days that'd work for you for a quick call so that we can vibe check each other!

Hey everyone! I'm looking to put together a group for The Aetherial Expanse, which I'll be running through Foundry VTT using The Forge. I'm a new DM, and part of the reason I'm putting this group together is because I want to actually get some experience behind the screen, experiment with different ways of running the game, and get feedback from my players as I improve. A little about my DM style: roleplaying and character voices are definitely not my strongest area yet. I'm still getting comfortable portraying NPCs and improvising conversations. Where I do put a lot of effort is into maps, environments, visuals, and giving players things they can actually see and interact with. I really enjoy making detailed VTT maps and building out locations for the party to explore. I'm looking for players who don't mind having a newer DM and are willing to be patient while I learn. Constructive feedback is absolutely welcome. I'd like this to be a group where everyone can have fun, learn each other's playstyles, and build a campaign together rather than expecting everything to be perfect from session one.

A flying city of portals, the City of Doors has closed. The gods have decreed that The Reckoning has come and the Material Plane's time is over. All that is left now is the Endlands, immeasurable leagues of sunless wastes, fled by all who can escape to the Outer Planes. But something else moves in the shadows. Might there be something worse than the end of the Material Plane after all? In this mash-up of Planescape and Stephen King's Dark Tower epic, you will explore a reality moving on, discover the secrets of its creation, and decide its fate once and for all. Your heroes have come together from across D&D's time and space to a land of sunless light, unpredictable magic, and guns. Lots of guns. Let's hope you're quick on the draw. Built for players who are comfortable with 5e and excited for a twist on its core rules, Spireward Bound follows a semi-episodic structure. Every few sessions, your characters are confronted with a new, exciting situation on your journey, each of which is designed for open-ended adventure. Our adventure is well underway, but there's room at the fireside for more travelers! Our Tarot Hunters are now about halfway through their quest to the Spire, coming to believe they have to save all of creation from the hunger of the Crimson King. They have just taken the very first steps in pursuit of the Justice Tarot...
