Description

This one's for the Magic the Gathering fans! The Phyrexian Invasion is a myth told at Strixhaven. World-enders conquering plane after plane? Please. Strixhaven is protected by Archaics, the Founder Dragons, and Jadzi the Oracle would absolutely foresee this coming. It's just Warforged from Ebberon causing havoc. You have bigger things to worry about. Like what you're going to present for your Final Project. It's Year 2 at Strixhaven. You've chosen your College and you're looking forward to a fun education. The Prismari Orchestra and Dance clubs will be hosting the Formal at the end of the year and your Final project needs to be started soon if you have any chance at passing this year. You've been recruited to Auxillary for your exemplary showing at Mage Tower last year so that's more work piled on the semester! This new Guest Lecturer, Professor Beleren, seems like an interesting teacher so maybe you'll take some extra lessons after classes? Year 2 at Strixhaven promises to be just as hectic, just as weird, and just as fun as Year 1. The Phyrexian Invasion can stay a scary story for the new batch of First Years. This years biggest threat is passing Advanced Foundations of Magic - Proprioception and Incantations in Stressful Situations.
We are an older group in our 30s/40s looking for someone to join our newest campaign. 3M/1F in the group. Would love to add another female to balance the player dynamic. Expected to run from level 4 to 14-17 over the course of a year or so. I host at my house, using a VTT for maps and 3D minis for creatures/characters We rotate covering meal orders Seeking 1-2 players, especially those more familiar with MTG.

What Hides in Mountain Stone

Paid game
The Game Master charges a fee to run the game.
Newbie friendly
New players are welcome, and nobody expects you to know the rules beforehand.
Hello everyone, Alex here! I am a new GM on Start Playing, and I am looking for players for my mini campaign. I am hoping to become a full-time GM and figured this was the best way to start. A bit about me: I've been a GM for 7 years. I am an artist, illustrator, animator, voice actor, and writer. And I absolutely love roleplaying!  Game Premise: In the world of Anangnibi (pronounced Ah-nahng-nee-bee) there looms a threat to the local towns and villages outside of a major port city called Agonan Mizhakwad (pronounced Ah-goh-nahn Meez-hahk-wahd). Reports of attacks have become more frequent and many have claimed to see a flying creature up within the mountains. Maps indicate that there is an old fort that has been empty for quite some time in the area. The local authorities have put up a reward for heroes to go and investigate the area and find out what has been happening. You as the heroes will find yourselves walking into the mountains to find the old hold, and once you get there, you'll find out that you have gotten far more than you bargained for. Who, or what, awaits within the halls of old abandoned stone? And will you survive the secrets within? Or will you be claimed by death much the same as those of the poor raided villages? Death lurks here, cold and indifferent like the sitting stone. You will need your strength and wit if you want to survive. So be prepared to face the challenges and discover the mystery of what hides within the mountain stone. Game Price: $25 per person  Session count: 1-3 sessions Session length: 4-5 hours Player Character Level: 5 System: D&D 5E Sourcebooks accepted: PHB 14, XGE, TCE, VGM (Other sourcebooks are open to discussion) Homebrew and 3rd Party: Open to discussion More information and details about the game can be found here on the Start Playing post: https://startplaying.games/adventure/cmt21mabu0037l404tjn7c32u?ref=cmrmikhi800frl704k6ca84nl  Content warning: While I am a newbie player friendly DM/GM, the game I am running is a DEADLY game with a DEADLY dungeon; your characters have a high chance of dying. Please keep that in mind for this game. If you are not okay with character death, this may not be the game for you.  If you have any additional questions, please feel free to message me, and I will get back to you as soon as possible.  You can also get some more general information about me as a GM, as well as read previous player reviews through my Start Playing GM Profile here:  https://startplaying.games/gm/alexthedmpanda Looking forward to hearing from you soon!

Pirates of Saltmarsh

Paid game

LGBTQ+ friendly
The table is openly welcoming to LGBTQ+ players.
This campaign is a different take on the module of "Ghosts of the Saltmarsh." We will be playing through the adventures in the module with character driven storylines. This is a naval campaign that will be taking place in waters of Faerun. So your character should have some connection to islands or the water. This campaign will take you down the path of piracy, political mystique, and underwater discovery. A mix of heavy combat, mystery solving, and medium roleplay. Character interaction is encouraged, but full on voices are not required. High Seas, High Fantasy, and Eldritch Horrors Level 1-10, with possibilities of higher levels depending on the game Go from ragtag mercenaries to local heroes. Unravel political plots, fend off living and undead deep-sea threats, and confront eldritch cults. This campaign uses the best of the adventures in Ghosts of Saltmarsh rounded out with additional materials. To join this campaign, or if you're looking for other long-term adventures for D&D 5e campaigns to have a good time in.
