Aethera VTT

Overview

Aethera VTT is a browser-based virtual tabletop for game masters and groups playing tabletop role-playing games online. Hosts create campaigns, upload maps, place tokens, and invite players with a link. No separate tabletop application, browser plugin, or server setup is required. Scenes bring together still or animated maps, grids, walls, dynamic lighting, and fog of war. GMs can organize actors, items, and journals, keep notes private, and choose what players can see or control. During an encounter, the tabletop provides token movement, distance measurement, initiative, conditions, and shared dice rolls in chat. Audio playlists and sound zones add atmosphere, with Aethera Voice available for linked live voice. The tabletop is system-agnostic by design. Its system manifests define actor and item types, character-sheet templates, and roll formulas; systems and sheet modules are managed within the application. Hosting starts on a free plan with full campaigns and invitations, 2 GB of asset storage, and a 40 MB limit per file. Players join using their own free Aethera accounts and do not need a paid plan. Optional paid host plans provide more storage, larger uploads, and advanced configuration. A public demo can be explored without signing in. The product website includes a player quickstart, GM guides, map requirements, and plan details, so groups can try the workflow and check its limits before moving a campaign.

Call of Cthulhu
The Stars Aren't Alright is a comedy/horror podcast, blending the Lovecraftian mythos with a far future, sci fi setting. The Keeper, Brian, uses the Call of Cthulhu TTRPG system to lead Alex, Catherine, Tom, and Leah through a series of mysterious events, unfolding into eldritch horror that stretches the character's sanity - and, in the end, learning that the true reality bending beings from outside time and space were the friends we made along the way.  (This podcast contains scenes of violence, adult language, and - if we did our jobs right - disturbing subject matter. Listener discretion is strongly advised.) Links youtube.com  - Youtube channel spotify.com  - Spotify feed patreon.com  - Patreon page discord.gg - Discord server
