System: Call of Cthulhu 7th Edition Setting: Down Darker Trails (Wild West) Platform: Owlbear Rodeo + Discord Voice Time: Sundays at 6:00 PM CDT Age Requirement: 18+ What to Expect: This is an Old West meets Cosmic Horror campaign using Down Darker Trails. Expect dusty frontier towns, lonely trails, forgotten mines, strange disappearances, and eldritch mysteries. Roleplay, investigation, mystery-solving, and character interaction take center stage, while combat is dangerous enough that sometimes the smartest thing you can do is beat feet. The first session will be a dedicated Session 0. We’ll spend the evening: - Creating investigators together. - Introducing ourselves as players. - Introducing our investigators. - Going over the Down Darker Trails setting and campaign expectations. - Making connections between characters before the adventure begins. - No prior knowledge of the setting is required. We’re a friendly, LGBTQ+ inclusive table that enjoys telling a compelling story together. Our current group consists of two trans women, one bisexual man, one non-binary player, and one straight cis man. While everyone is welcome to apply, we’d especially love to hear from cis women to help round out the group’s current makeup. Our sessions are recorded and uploaded to YouTube as part of our playcast, High Tides and Tall Tales. We’re still getting off the ground, so this is very much a passion project rather than a commercial one. Nobody is expected to be a professional entertainer. We’re simply a group of friends who enjoy telling stories together and sharing them with others. A face cam is not required. We intentionally keep the focus on the investigators and the story rather than the players behind them. The only requirement is that you’re comfortable having your voice recorded for YouTube. We also commission artwork throughout the campaign, so you’ll get to see your investigator brought to life as the story unfolds. This is a NSFW Call of Cthulhu campaign that I'm aiming for 3-4 players playing. This will be done in Discord at 8-9:30 EST. I will be running this weekly when I'm able. This is NSFW so there will be dark themes, graphic descriptions, and overall kinky shit. Baseline CoC knowledge is preferred but not needed. I am not lgbt but this is lgbt friendly. Setting: The town of Raptio Peak, Oregon. The town resides in the dead center of a badlands, on hoodoo that is so wide it's become a plateau. The ground surrounding the hoodoo is incredible fertile, with a small underground river running underneath it with caves providing the towns main source of food, mushrooms. The people who live there have become coarse and hardy from subsisting off of mushrooms and the grains from the river. Campaign: Strange happenings have been going on in Raptio Peak. One day ago, the railroad shut down. One hour ago, a strange, bare chested woman was seen blowing a horn before riding off into the night. One second ago, the town church burst into flames in the middle of service. No one knows if this is a regular old demonic possession or if there's something more sinister at hand, but one thing is for sure... No one is safe tonight. Character Options Prudence: A pious 18yo single girl. She has straight strands of straw colored hair, a pale complexion, and eyes the color of the sun at dawn. Having been raised in Raptio all her life, she's dying to get out and see the world she's read about in her books and scriptures. Joseph: A hardworking 24yo single man. He has brown auburn tufts of hair, a strong, tanned body, and eyes like the midday sky. He was born and raised in Raptio Peak and dreams to someday see his grandchildren running along the plains of green grass he planted and tended. Nike: A determined 53yo divorced woman. She has loose strands of salt and pepper hair, a toned, fit figure for her age, and eyes cold and black as the ocean. She has explored the better half of the Midwest and has decided to settle down here. She says it's because she can see the sunrise from where she lives. Winchester: An easygoing 40yo businessman. With a gleaming bald scalp, a rotund body, and a tiny, beady eyes, he's looks like a very stereotypical wealthy man. He's on a business trip and decided to stop in this town for the night, the night before the train broke down. There may or may not be secret info about the characters and their motivations depending on who you choose Specific kinks that might appear in universe: Futanari, Gender Swap both ways, Musk, Pheromones, Non-con, Eldritch horrors, tentacles, mind control, pegging, chastity, whatever looking down on a woman because she's old is called, orgasm control and denial.  Specific kinks that will not be there: Snuff, Scat, Watersports, Bestiality, Gore, fucking dead bodies and everything under those umbrellas.  If something's hot, I'm probably gonna do it, but those are the guidelines on kinky stuff. The year is 1933 and a dread has spread over Hastirapa - a small village deep inside the heart of India. There have been murmurings of fear - stranger sightings, horrible noises and missing people. Panic has gripped the minds of locals. What is true and what is panic induced delirium? I'm a newcomer to the game system though I've ran other systems a few times so bear with me in rule implementations! 18+ only mostly because going for a more serious horror theme and there might be mature themes abound About the PCs- I have a few ideas what you can be - Investigators from a nearby town, a local that went away to work in a nearby town and is now travelling back, a friend of a Scholar that has gone missing or a Professor from a University that has been contacted. If you have any other ideas about the specific character you want to play then we'll work together to make sure your character fits in the world! I have been running Masks for some folks on my personal Discord server and Alchemy VTT since September 8th, 2025. The Good Friends are currently in the England chapter. Peru and New York have already been completed. I run a very loosey goosey style of game, and the characters are modified to be very powerful, but you won't have the x2 HP mod. Further, even if we aim for period-accurate detail, this is not a game where you will have any bigotry or intolerance toward your character, regardless of their race, class, religion, politics, gender identity, or sexuality.
