When: Monday nights Start Date: August 24 (Session 0) Platform: Foundry VTT + Discord Players: 6 total (3 seats already filled) Experience: None required — newcomers to AD&D are absolutely welcome I've been DMing D&D for a couple of years, primarily 5e, and have spent the last few months learning and playing AD&D 1e. I'm ready to get behind the screen and give this wonderfully weird old game a run of my own. We'll begin with the classic Keep on the Borderlands, with the campaign potentially continuing into other classic AD&D adventures. This will be an old-school game. That means exploration, wilderness travel, resource management, hirelings and henchmen, reaction and morale rolls, dangerous combat, and a world that isn't automatically balanced around the party. Running away is sometimes the smartest move you'll make. Character death is possible. What I care about most is finding players who: Show up consistently and communicate when they can't. Enjoy roleplaying as well as combat and exploration. Are willing to work with the party rather than against it. Can separate player knowledge from character knowledge. Respect the other people at the table. Characters will be created together during Session 0. Don't worry about showing up with one already made.
