Hello There!  I'm Liam/Psychic (He/Him 24). I've been DMing for almost a decade starting back when I took theater classes in high school, shocker I know. We've recently had one our players go MIA and last time that happened we started a new campaign, so sticking with tradition, here we are with TYRANNY OF DRAGONS! As a big fan of the Forgotten Realms and all it's weirdness and an old head of 5th edition, I saw no better campaign than the really long two-parter that needs a lot of tender loving care to smooth out those bumps and make Prince out of the Frog! I'm a DM that tries his best to put character and cool stuff first. Rule of cool is mostly the name of the game and I tend to throw physics out the window, I grew up on DBZ, Yugioh, and Mecha so your barbarian destroying a figment of the moon to weaken the water elemental or rolling a nat 20 so you can break the adamantine golem by punching it really really hard is gonna go the way you think it will. With all my campaigns we're going for a character first mentality, I'm not interested in people who want to play a build with a few character bits stapled! For our excursion into Tyranny of Dragons we'll be starting with Dragons of Stormwreck Isle, mostly because of its simple premise, separation from the sword coast, and it good at getting the dragon stuff going early since this is nearly 15 year old adventure's major villain, y'know the cult of Tiamat isn't going to be a surprise to anyone. It's like trying to spoil the Odyssey, we all know good ol' Ody gets home and goes to town killing those suitors. For the premise, you all will be 1st level adventurers leaving from a port in Neverwinter and heading to Stormwreck Isle, aboard the Lahmu, a large shipping vessel, delivering the monthy shipment of goods to Dragon's Rest, a haven for the world-weary and those in need of safety or new beginnings. Despite the legends of prosperity the island holds, the cracks have began to form, as the undead plague the coast and ancient evils seek to return, threatening to turn the island simple misfortune to its destruction.
