[LFP]S.T.A.L.K.E.R. The Sunflowers Will (Not) Grow

"The Zone doesn't care who you were before. It only cares how long you can hold your breath, how well you can shoot, and if you have enough bolts to throw into the darkness." System: Twilight: 2000 (4th Edition) modified for the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. universe Tone: Survival Horror, Hex-Crawl Exploration, Lethal Combat, Bleak Atmosphere, Squad Camaraderie, Black Humor The Concept Welcome to the Chornobyl Exclusion Zone. I am stripping away the World War III setting of Twilight: 2000 and porting its brutal yet elegant survival mechanics directly into the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. universe. You play as loners, mercenaries, AWOL military, or faction deserters trying to carve out an existence in the most hostile environment on the planet. You're here for the artifacts, the money, the secrets, or because the world outside didn't want you anymore. The year will either be 2021 or present day. Why Twilight 2000? T2K4e is the perfect engine for The Zone. The mechanics inherently support everything that makes S.T.A.L.K.E.R. great: Hex-Crawling: Navigate the treacherous terrain of The Zone, mapping safe routes between familiar locations from the fiction and real life. Brutal Survival: Every sip of water and every round of ammunition matters. Lethal Combat: Firefights are fast, tactical, and deadly. You don't want to get into a shootout with Bandits unless you have to, let alone a Bloodsucker. Stress & Panic: Pushing your luck will break your mind just as quickly as radiation breaks your body. What To Expect Anomalies & Artifacts: Navigate invisible death traps to recover physics-defying artifacts. Mutants & Monsters: Blind dogs, Snorks, Controllers, and things that shouldn't exist hunting you in the dark. Emissions (Blowouts): When the sky turns red and the earth shakes, you have minutes to find deep cover or your brain will melt. Faction Politics: Navigate the tense cold wars between Duty, Freedom, the Military, and the fanatic Monolith. Camp Life: Sitting around a rusted barrel fire, playing guitar, drinking vodka to stave off the rads, and patching up your wounds before the next shift. Logistics Schedule: Every other Sunday 1pm-5pm EST (I am more than happy to run for those in overseas timezones and even if English is not your first language!) Platform: Discord for voice/chatting, Roll20 for gameplay Experience Required: None. While I am in my early 30s with 15 years of DMing under my belt, I am still new to Twilight 2000 but am more than happy to help people learn. Knowledge of the fiction is not necessary but the premise should interest you. Party Size: Looking for 4-5 Stalkers Interested? Send me a DM with your Discord UN, your experience with TTRPGs (or the STALKER games), and a brief 2-3 sentence concept for a character(if you have one already!). Also with any questions you may have! Get out of here, Stalker.

Mechwarrior: Debt Before Dishonor

Hi there! I'm a DM with over 15 years of experience with various systems covering most genres and including officially published games and homemade systems. In the past few months I've rediscovered my love for the Battletech universe and would like to run a game in said universe. I will list as many details as I can. The year is 3035 and the party are members of a very down on their luck mercenary company. After a botched contract given to them by House Kurita, the company's commander is MIA and down to minimal resources, meaning a couple Leopards, two barely functional Lances of Mechs, and about 50 personnel. With each passing week handfuls of Mercs once dedicated to the company are scalped by other companies or agents of the Houses of the Inner Sphere. The party consists of those unwilling to give up hope and those who wish to see the Company rise in status, all while kicking ass, taking names, and drinking gin. The Details The game will be run every other Wednesday starting in mid/late April, most likely from 7pm-11pm EST. The game will use Discord for the majority of communication, though I am still figuring out what I want to use for gameplay. Either Foundry or a tool most suitable for BT. The systems used will be Mechwarrior 2e for ground level gameplay and classic battletech for everything else. I am looking for 4 players for this campaign which will feature equal amounts of mature roleplay and crunchy combat. Expect humor, banter, and heartfelt moments as well. It can't always be warcrimes all the time. Players will most likely be in control of 2-4 characters possibly including two mechwarriors and two support staff or other members of the Merc band. I'm not a thousand percent sold on this part yet. Just might be your one Mechwarrior and that's it.  Disclaimer: I love the Battletech universe but I am still learning a lot about it. I'm an extremely experienced DM but I have not run a game in this universe before. I ask for your grace and patience and look forward to figuring this out together!
