The world of Gifts is the same as our own, except magic is real and as mundane as a Wi-Fi signal. The System uses magic to automate your oppression. Players are part of the Resistance, reclaiming stolen traditions and the worship of ancient deities to protect their neighborhoods from magical gentrification and state violence.
