Description

Story Brief I'm making a game set in the lawless outer systems of our galaxy, in a soft sci-fi setting. Due to the ongoing conflicts in the Hegemony core worlds and the increasing amounts of dangers in the outer systems, the Hegemony has decided to utilise an unprecedented resource. 'Reformed' apprehended anomalies whose powers can be controlled. You will join a crew made up of former recidivist anomalies as part of a secret project. Each of you are low-level anomalies, but together you may be able to bring more powerful threats to galactic peace to justice. In doing so, you will be ever closer to your freedom. In service to Hegemonic Juidiciary Command, you can expect to bring to heel true threats to the good, working, diverse races of the Galactic Hegemony. These include such fearsome foes as Interstellar Drug Cartels, Hostile Alien Fauna and Flora, Rogue Anomalies, Unbound AI Cores and more! System Savage Worlds and Companion Books - mainly Sci-Fi, Super Powers and Fantasy. Savage Worlds is 'fast and furious' with medium crunch and explosive dice which can lead to some pretty wild situations. Ran on Foundry VTT with Discord for voice and media sharing. Date and Time Flexible right now but gunning for Sundays at 18:30 GMT (22:30 ET). We will be running weekly sessions and each session will run for between 3 and 4 hours. I estimate the overall first act of the story will take 10 sessions. From there, we can see if the story has the legs to move forward. I think it will, but we will have a 'season finale' which will be conclusive enough if players want to leave it there. The first session will be on April 26th, so just about a month from now. Theme, Tone and Touchstones You will be a 'Rogues Gallery' group of minor supervillains who have agreed to a contract with Hegemony to possibly gain freedom. The tone of the story will be fun, irreverent, action-packed with moments of heart-felt slice-of-life, tragedy and drama. It's a character-driven space opera where new alien species and soft sci-fi phenomena can be introduced on the fly. One session might have the players boarding a supposedly long-lost battleship which has inexplicably appeared in the orbit of an inhabited planet. The next may be stopping the assassination of Prince Obrelisix by the agents of the Entropic Veil as revenge for the persecution of their cult. Themes can be suggested by players for however they want their characters to develop, but ones that I will include as the GM will be things like reluctant heroism, redemption, recidivist temptations, space slice-of-life and crew drama. Touchstones are things like Guardians of the Galaxy, Suicide Squad, Dispatch, Borderlands, Invincible, Rick and Morty, League of Legends Odyssey, Beyond Good and Evil, Creature Commandos and I am sure many more. If you'd be interested in joining, let me know with a message here, or by leaving a comment in this post. Ideal Players Able to attend regular sessions on Sundays. No experience with Savage Worlds is needed. Character-driven, soft-villainous. Understand the difference between 'bad guys' and 'pure evil.' We're lovable rogues, not genocidal maniacs. Basic tabletop-etiquette that respects other players and myself.

Sweet Dreams are Made of These (An Eberron Story)

Homebrew
House rules, a custom setting, or a system the Game Master wrote themselves.
Roleplay focused
Conversation, character and story take up most of the table time.
A ragtag band of locals find themselves embroiled in a strange adventure involving an unhinged warforged, a psychotic docent, and a plot seemingly involving a nefarious branch of House Cannith. One of those you've been roped in with attached the docent to himself and now hears voices, but has started displaying extra abilities. Your mentor, the unhinged warforged named Trace 7, has disappeared, but she left you with a mission to find a way into a secret facility in the underbelly of Sharn to discover the secrets of this organization. Can you find your way in and discover what House Cannith is up to? This game uses the Pathfinder for Savage Worlds Ruleset and Kristian Serrano's Eberron for Savage Worlds adaptation hosted on the Fantasy Grounds VTT, which is now free to play. All resources will be supplied upon acceptance. This is an ongoing campaign with five players currently. I'll accept up to one more. We play on the last Sunday of the month at 18:00 Eastern Time (Currently UTC-4).

Sunday +2 GMT, biweekly, 20$ per session Foundry + Discord Sign up on Startplaying HERE - You are part of secret government organization that deals with unnatural threats and protects the world from experiences you will need to live for the rest of your life. Conducting a Delta Green operation is like an immune system response; you must identify and destroy the infection before it kills the body. This campaign comprises of six operations for new and old Delta Green players that would like to face reality where lovecraftian monstrosities are more down to earth then you would think. You can join for all of them as one ongoing cycle or pick and choose which operations you would like to be part of - check "party notes" below to see which operation is currently played. • Reverberations: Reverb is back in Chicago. Users vanish, leaving wrecked rooms behind. Stop the source of this unnatural threat. • Viscid: A geneticist dies in Seattle. Unnatural "Blue Blood" is spreading. Confront a lethal conspiracy before it’s too late. • Music From a Darkened Room: 18 people died at 1206 Spooner Ave. An agent just joined them. Enter the house that is cold, alive, and hungry. • Extremophilia: A deputy dies of poisoning in Montana. Stop a contagious threat before you become its next vector. • The Star Chamber: Adjudicate a mission in Myanmar. Replay choices to find the truth: did they betray humanity to the Tcho-Tchos? • Observer Effect: A lab looked too deeply into reality. Isolate the staffers before a mindless chaos consumes our existence. Never played Delta Green? Don't worry - game is simple and you will pick up the system as we play! We will kick off with session zero to agree on table rules and expectations. Before joining be aware that this game is for mature players and will involve difficult moral decisions as well as might involve emotional roleplaying about human relations and their slow degradation. It is not a happy game about killing monsters. It is a game about consequences. This is an ongoing campaign. We finished Viscid and are looking for fresh blood to start Music From a Darkened Room.
