Planning to run a campaign eventually with WFRP next year but planning a few oneshots in Oct/Nov/Dec. Will be using Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay 5th edition (only just released) I hope To find some like minded players or just to have a oneshot laugh with new people and maybe bring some people to the game. Beginners more than welcome (some of my group are from DnD and new to Warhammer). If you’re interested drop me a message and tell me a bit about you. For the oneshots I will likely make a load of varied characters with enough choice that there will be something you want to play. This is so that we can get straight into it and learn the rules as we go. Likely play on Weekends usually at Arcanists Tavern in Hackney. For those new to Warhammer: it’s a more grim and more perilous world, set in the Human empire, you have a species: Human, dwarf, halfling, high elf, wood elf. Career: each career has 4 tiers and the idea is you progress in this (or swap to a more appealing one) you may start as a Grave robber but end up as Indiana Jones/Lara Croft type. No game breaking abilities but powerful nonetheless. A bit about me: in my 40s. Group is 30-40s but anyone welcome. I’ve run WFRP as a kid (1st Ed) and as an adult have run 2nd edition. I also play in two DnD 5e campaigns and have DMd a 5e campaign. I plan to go back to Warhammer, love the setting and find the lower power and more brutal Warhammer appealing rather than the quick power jumps. You have to keep going through this strange 'dungeon' and make it through this place or claim the titles and be the bringer of the apocalypse Investigate, use your wits, charm, battle or even your body to bring down maeve or even (join her) WARNING This is a NSFW campaign with strong sexual themes/scenes and body horror In Session 0 I not only go over knowing what my player boundaries are but I inform my players of my own boundaries. Session 0 is also a great way to manage expectations before the game starts. If due to any reason a problem arise, I will have another session 0 to remind everyone of boundaries and safety techniques. Plus in session 0 we will be going in detail about kinks and what everyone is fine with wants to see or don't see. I do breaks in the sessions to let my players have a chance to think, let them have a time to rest mentally for 5 or 10 minutes, or how ever long my players need, so they know they are able to get something to eat or go have a toilet break During intense sessions I inform and remind everyone that my Dms are always open so they are aware if they do feel uncomfortable at one point and I am not aware and don't want to say it outright i will take it seriously and make sure to keep the player comfort a priority. At the end of intense sessions I always check in on my players to make sure they are okay
