Description

**Am going to host another campaign of my Novymirn world, first campaign is full, thats why the 0/5 so slots open! **Probably for friday night, saturdays or sundays noon. Imagine a dark high-fantasy cold world with snowy magical forests, cool pairies and the usual abandoned tank wreck next to a decaying base. In sense thats the world of Novymirn, my homebrew project I have been working on for years, that is lightly taken inspiration from the anime "GATE" as its in a way a clash between fantasy and modern, but its not actually the focus, which in true is the mysterious nature of the world, how it works and what happened. And the clash is the society and history found: the native 'beastfolk' or Zvernarod have built a late-medieval fantasy civilization here, using glowing crystals to cast powerful spells and scavenging strange, ancient metals from long-vanished ruins to forge their weapons. Meanwhile, a dwindling army of normal Soviets who marched through a mysterious portal decades ago are now permanently stranded here, clinging to their firearms, tanks, and a heavily fortified bunker-state. Thats the very brief introduction, and there alot more... About Me First -Language & Timezone: I speak both English and Spanish well, and I’m in the CST/CT Timezone. -Experience: I’m not super experienced running official D&D (I've only done a couple), I have ton of text roleplaying and creative writing experience. Since we are using a system built from scratch, we’ll all be learning, improving, and building this together. -The Logistics: We'll do sessions via Discord voice chat (no cameras needed, though I don't mind them). I'm aiming for weekly or bi-weekly sessions. I’m flexible with the schedule but would prefer late-night CST. Would like to record the sessions and possibly upload them. What to Expect from the Game -The Focus: The campaign will focus heavily on roleplaying, exploration, world immersion, and player interactions. -The System: I use my own super-simplified dice-rolling system. It's designed to let us focus way more on narrative and roleplay, while still keeping that fun luck-vs-skill factor of the dice. -Work in Progress: I’m actively working on this world. It’s mature enough to play in, but expect quite a bit of reading for character creation and immersion. I even have a work-in-progress online character creator form you can use! -Customization: Because I'm still developing the lore, I only have a few official species fully written out. I am totally open to homebrewing custom, in-lore species with you. Expect a few lore holes here and there, but we can fill them together. Who I'm Looking For -Mature/Adults Only: I don't want to deal with any out-of-game drama. -Genuinely Interested: People who actually want to explore the world, find out about its weird nature, the places, and the people. At its core, this game is about discovery. -Reliable: Consistency and punctuality for sessions is huge for me. -Any Experience Level: I don't mind if you are a total beginner or a veteran—I'll need to teach you how I run things anyway!

Looking for player interested in custom game system via narrative roleplay and learning the system itself. Grasianil: Custom D6-based system utilizing Maptool primarily, heavily stream-lined to support large, quick battles. Versatility allows vehicles, mechs, and spaceships, utilizing unique mechanics, in-addition to single players. Minimal delays owing to macros within Maptool, utilizing pop-up menus, automatic calculation of damage, debuffs, armor, etc. Highly adaptable, with streamlined rules offering as much complexity as is desired, and based on the setting. Developed by myself and my partner who passed away earlier this year. Supports several original fantasy and sci fi worlds of varying types, from traditional western high fantasy, to detailed low fantasy, from space opera-style sci fi, to more realistic settings. In-addition to original settings not listed here, it has been adapted to: Legend of Zelda Battletech Middle Earth Forgotten Realms Mystara Shadowrun and Cyberpunk Pre-existing settings are not played strictly-canon, but consistency is stressed. The system can cover nearly any theme, so if a setting is not listed here, please inquire-within and I may have something that fits or be able to adapt for you. Medium amount of experience in RPing requested, as well as an open mind to learn a new system. Maptool 1.11.5 needed, Discord used primarily for all text but other programs are an option, Google sheets used for some settings. Time-zone of GM is US Central. RPing otherwise done via text on Discord, but other options open to discussion. Session date and time variable, any listed setting available, suggestions welcome, inquire in DMs to myself for further details. GM preference for folks interested in creating a story, rather than purely for the gaming. One-on-one only, at the moment. No cost. No absolute obligation. Reach out to natalie7995 on Discord, or via message/email for more information. When reaching out, please send a message via Groupfinder or over Discord.

Story Driven Cyberpunk Red/Homebrew Campaign

Hello!      (QUITE A WORDY DESCRIPTION BUT TOTALLY WORTH READING) I ran a 6 month DnD Campaign earlier this year and had such a good time with it that we're looking to do it all again in the near future, this time in a Cyberpunk/Dystopian setting :) Our last campaign was extremely narrative heavy and I imagine we will lean into that just as hard this next time. I am pretty relaxed about the rules and happy to bend things if it makes for a better moment. The main goal is to have a great time and create something that feels a bit more like a story experience than just a TTRPG. 5 players worked great last time and with 3 of the original group returning we’re looking for 2 or maybe 3 more at most. It’ll be another 6-month campaign, playing weekly on either Saturday or Sunday. Obviously, the occasional planned absence or emergency is completely fine, but everyone should realistically be able to make almost every session. I tend to tie the story quite closely to individual characters, so having people consistently there makes a big difference. I also like putting a bit of effort into the atmosphere (lighting, music, sound effects, set pieces, maps, etc). The last campaign even ended up involving a weekend away for an important part of the story and if all goes well we will totally do something like that again. Campaigns require a real commitment not only to the DM but also to the other players. I can safely say that despite none of us knowing each other before the 1st campaign we are all really good friends now and we hope to make more in the form of a couple new faces for this one! If you're interested, have questions, or just want to know a bit more about what we're planning, feel free to message me. Thanks for reading!
