Description

18+: I’m in my 30s and not an educator. Playing with random high-schoolers would feel weird. There will be no 18+ NSFW content. LGBT: I’m Trans and you’ll need to be cool with that. I’m also autistic. Scheduling: I have pretty open availability, so if a different day works better for the group I may be able to make it work. Currently scheduled for Monday at 530PM PST. GM Style: Heavy on player lead roleplay, light on combat. Expect about an 80/20 mix. I do make use of AI, but have the decency to be ashamed of doing so. I’m relatively new and inexperienced as a GM. I'm not great with voices, and currently do not make use of background music. I currently have three confirmed players and am looking for 1-3 more. Platform: Discord voice, Owlbear Rodeo. System: Heavy Gear RPG 4th Edition Character Creation Notes: 17 skill points, 3 Familiar skills (unrestricted). Start with one PL1 Gear of your choice (probably a Hunter or a Jager). GREL characters are allowed. Non-Terra Novan characters are allowed if you can come up with a justification and an interesting story. Terra Nova & Heavy Gear in Brief Terra Nova is a desert world caught between nations, corporations, and old wars. Most people live in heavily fortified cities, but out in the Badlands—the vast deserts, salt flats, and canyons between nations—life is rough, lawless, and fiercely independent. The world is shaped by its iconic war machines: Gears, mechs designed for speed, agility, and firepower. Every faction has their own designs, but out in the Badlands, most Gears are patched together from salvage, stripped for parts, or jury-rigged with whatever still works. Life in the Badlands is a constant struggle against raiders, warlords, corporate exploitation, and the unforgiving desert itself. Traders, smugglers, mercs, and wanderers travel in long caravans, hauling goods and trying to survive one dust storm and ambush at a time. More background info can be found in the freely available wargame rules: Log in to view This video does a good job summarizing some of the background lore: Log in to view Campaign Summary & Intro You are part of a merchant caravan, a ragtag convoy of traders, settlers, and wanderers crossing the Badlands to build a new home. The road is dangerous, but it is also alive with opportunity: every mile brings new allies, rivals, and threats. On the move, survival means holding the line against raiders, keeping gears running in the dust, and navigating the politics of trade and travel. The caravan is family, livelihood, and fragile hope. But the journey is only the beginning. When the caravan finally plants roots, new struggles emerge. Defending a settlement in the Badlands means fending off warlords and raiders hungry for plunder, resisting corporate control dressed up as “protection,” and holding together a community that is as fractious as it is fragile. This is a story of hard travel, desperate battles, and the fight to claim a piece of the desert as your own. It is about the choices that shape not just survival, but the kind of future your people will build.

The Star Hoarder's Cache

Previously, on The Star Hoarder's Cache: Fade into the party hurriedly discussing their plan while fleeing a burning Space Freighter "If it's a choice between joining Pirates, the Rebels or the Law... I'm for the Rebels." Cut to an impeccibly dressed businessman leaning on his mahogony desk "A new ship? That's quite the favor, my friends. Luckily I have just the job for you..." Fade up as we look into your character's eyes, focused straight ahead "There's no way, Val! That shot is impossible!"  "It's still the best we have." Hey everyone! I’m Alan, and I GM for a group of lovable misfits online. We've been together around 3 years now, and are getting ready to launch our next grand sci-fi campaign: The Star Hoarder's Cache! If you love deep character development, witty table banter, and adventures where your choices genuinely shape the story, we’d love to meet you! We’re currently looking for 1–2 dedicated roleplayers to round out our crew. The Campaign Hook: Think Guardians of the Galaxy meets Firefly, Mass Effect, and Treasure Island. Expect a scrappy, found-family crew chasing legendary fortunes across uncharted frontiers. The tone balances high-stakes galactic intrigue, sharp comedic banter, and meaningful character arcs. Your past catches up with you, the galaxy reacts dynamically to your decisions, and every crew member has a vital voice in where your ship flies next. We used the Adventure Path 'Murder in Metal City' to onboard us into SF2e, and are ready to tackle a homebrew campaign. About the GM & Table Style The Style: I bring 3 years of GMing experience backed by a long history studying improv at Second City. That means dynamic scenes, distinct NPC personalities, and an adaptive GM approach where player creativity, humor, and bold ideas are rewarded. The Current Crew: Our table consists of two women, and four men. (Including me, the GM) We're looking for another 1-2 players to round out the table, cis-women preferred. Immersion & Focus: To maintain high energy and uninterrupted roleplay during game night, our sessions are recorded and privately uploaded so that only table members have access. This allows me to stay 100% present in the moment while ensuring every player decision, inside joke, and plot thread is captured accurately between sessions without breaking the flow for note-taking. The Atmosphere: We are an inclusive, collaborative, and communicative group. We share the spotlight, support each other's character arcs, and prioritize fun, respectful storytelling above all else. We utilize safety tools like X-Cards and establish clear boundaries/lines & veils ahead of time. If a session is likely to involve heavier depictions of potentially difficult topics, I make a point to remind everyone of the X-Card options and check in with players ahead of time. Campaign Length: Our table enjoys campaigns around 12 sessions long. We've run four of them so far using PF2e. I try to focus on an overarching narrative while weaving in the backstories and goals of the party members. Some backstory plots get resolved along with the main campaign; while others are given clues and breadcrumbs into our next campaign. Logistics & Requirements System: Starfinder 2e / Pathfinder 2e We started as a PF2e group, and after 3 years; are trying out SF2e. The two systems are practically the same, except for minor tweaks Platform: Foundry VTT for gameplay, Discord for out-of-character crew banter. Schedule: Twice per month, running on a weekday evening (Mon, Tue, Wed, or Thu based on group consensus), 6:30 PM – ~11:00 PM CST. Tech: Clear working microphone, reliable internet, and a PC/browser capable of running Foundry VTT smoothly. Webcam use is encouraged, but optional. Age: 21+ I aim to run a PG-13/Sometimes 'R' rated table. We focus on keeping things friendly, with strictly zero-tolerance for bigotry or toxic behavior. How to Apply: If you want to join our crew, send me a direct message with brief answers to the following: Experience: What is your background with Pathfinder 2e, Starfinder 2e or tabletop RPGs? (Beginners to the system are welcome!) Playstyle: What draws you to TTRPG's; Combat/Strategy, Improv/Character development or creating a Shared-Storyline? Table Dynamic: What energy do you hope to bring to the table in our story-driven campaign? Applications will remain open until we find the right fit, followed by a brief, casual chat on Discord to make sure we're all on the same page before jumping in. (We'll go over table expectations, a short tutorial for using FoundryVTT, any Off-Limit topics, etc.) Looking forward to welcoming you to our table!

Pirates of Saltmarsh

Paid game
The Game Master charges a fee to run the game.
LGBTQ+ friendly
The table is openly welcoming to LGBTQ+ players.
This campaign is a different take on the module of "Ghosts of the Saltmarsh." We will be playing through the adventures in the module with character driven storylines. This is a naval campaign that will be taking place in waters of Faerun. So your character should have some connection to islands or the water. This campaign will take you down the path of piracy, political mystique, and underwater discovery. A mix of heavy combat, mystery solving, and medium roleplay. Character interaction is encouraged, but full on voices are not required. High Seas, High Fantasy, and Eldritch Horrors Level 1-10, with possibilities of higher levels depending on the game Go from ragtag mercenaries to local heroes. Unravel political plots, fend off living and undead deep-sea threats, and confront eldritch cults. This campaign uses the best of the adventures in Ghosts of Saltmarsh rounded out with additional materials. To join this campaign, or if you're looking for other long-term adventures for D&D 5e campaigns to have a good time in. One world and a big pool of players, but no fixed party - whoever signs up that week is who plays.
LGBTQ+ friendly
The table is openly welcoming to LGBTQ+ players.
The world of Phelun is an old one that has seen many conflicts throughout its history. While times seem peaceful, beneath the surface there are whisperings of the Dragon Queen stirring within her prison, strange events occurring upon the continent of Ines, and adventure awaiting upon the lost continent of Asoris. This is an 18+ only server that is a mix of go at your own pace pbp and west marches living world elements.  https://discord.gg/X8dFsNrjBw This is a new Server that has been worked on by one DM for 3 months. It currently features the following:     PbP forums for those who prefer slower RPs.     Living world channels where characters can explore the lands or meet one another in real time in the pub.     DM run Tables. (We are looking for more DMs to help run tables)     Mining, gathering, fishing, and exploration through Avrae commands (commands are ready, but random tables need to be filled out more for variety).     Random in game daily events (not tied to irl days, and still being worked on).     Market to buy items.     Guilds (will need leaders).     Job command to earn coin and a living world channel to RP the work in. (currently being reworked)     Custom Drinking command for the pub.     Player housing.
