Description

Game Title: Lost Mines of Phandelver Game System: D&D 5e 20204, Game Type: Campaign, Payment Details: $15 per session via Startplaying.games (Session zero is free), Session Frequency: Weekly, Day and Time: Monday at 11:00 PM EST, Game Duration: 3-4 hours, Number of Players: Up to 6 will begin with 4, Experience Level: Any, Welcome to Lost Mine of Phandelver—a classic Dungeons & Dragons adventure full of mystery, danger, and excitement. You’ll begin on a simple job: escort a wagon of supplies along the rugged Triboar Trail to the frontier town of Phandalin. Easy coin, right? Except the road doesn’t stay quiet for long. Bandits, goblins, and worse things are prowling the wilderness—and something important has gone missing. As you follow the clues, you’ll uncover an old conflict simmering beneath the surface: rival factions pulling strings, hidden threats in the hills, and a shadowy villain who doesn’t want questions answered. Phandalin itself is a dusty, half-rebuilt settlement perched on the edge of untamed territory. It’s the kind of place where everyone knows everyone… and where trouble can take root fast. You’ll meet locals with secrets, forge alliances (or make enemies), take on quests that range from monster-hunting to investigation, and decide what kind of heroes you want to be. The choices you make can change the town’s fate—and your reputation. At the heart of the story lies a legend: a lost mine tied to ancient magic and immense wealth. Finding it isn’t just about treasure—it’s about survival. The trail leads through ambushes, crumbling ruins, eerie caverns, and tense negotiations, building toward a final confrontation where courage and clever thinking matter as much as swords and spells. This campaign is excellent for new players who want to learn D&D: it introduces the rules naturally through exploration, roleplay, and combat, with plenty of room to ask questions and grow into your character. That said, experienced players are absolutely welcome—there’s enough intrigue, tactical challenge, and roleplaying opportunity to keep everyone engaged. Bring a character you’re excited about—heroic, shady, curious, or chaotic disaster—and let’s see what you do when the frontier pushes back. This game will require payment to the Game Master at a rate of  $15USD weekly and through Startplaying.games  Roll20 is not responsible for any payment transactions and cannot enforce any private arrangements. Elaria: Breaking the Chains Elaria is a land of powerful kingdoms, ancient magic, and prosperity built upon slavery. Humans, orcs, beastkin, prisoners, and countless others are bought and sold while those in power grow wealthy from their suffering. Within the slaves social circle classes have been established, the house slaves see themselves as better then those who work the grounds and so on. The party begins as ordinary adventurers with no army, rebellion, or grand destiny. But as they travel across Elaria and witness the cruelty of its kingdoms, they will have opportunities to fight back. You will not start in a inn or town, it will be a suprise Freeing a few slaves can become rescuing a village. A rescued village can become allies. Allies can become soldiers and soldiers can become a rebellion. The players will build that rebellion themselves—recruiting allies, establishing bases, gathering resources, liberating territory, and deciding how far they are willing to go to end slavery. Eventually, Elaria's kings will learn their names. The only question is whether history will remember them as heroes, rebels, or something far more dangerous.

Hello everyone, Alex here! I am a new GM on Start Playing, and I am looking for players for my mini campaign. I am hoping to become a full-time GM and figured this was the best way to start. A bit about me: I've been a GM for 7 years. I am an artist, illustrator, animator, voice actor, and writer. And I absolutely love roleplaying!  Game Premise: In the world of Anangnibi (pronounced Ah-nahng-nee-bee) there looms a threat to the local towns and villages outside of a major port city called Agonan Mizhakwad (pronounced Ah-goh-nahn Meez-hahk-wahd). Reports of attacks have become more frequent and many have claimed to see a flying creature up within the mountains. Maps indicate that there is an old fort that has been empty for quite some time in the area. The local authorities have put up a reward for heroes to go and investigate the area and find out what has been happening. You as the heroes will find yourselves walking into the mountains to find the old hold, and once you get there, you'll find out that you have gotten far more than you bargained for. Who, or what, awaits within the halls of old abandoned stone? And will you survive the secrets within? Or will you be claimed by death much the same as those of the poor raided villages? Death lurks here, cold and indifferent like the sitting stone. You will need your strength and wit if you want to survive. So be prepared to face the challenges and discover the mystery of what hides within the mountain stone. Game Price: $25 per person  Session count: 1-3 sessions Session length: 4-5 hours Player Character Level: 5 System: D&D 5E Sourcebooks accepted: PHB 14, XGE, TCE, VGM (Other sourcebooks are open to discussion) Homebrew and 3rd Party: Open to discussion More information and details about the game can be found here on the Start Playing post: https://startplaying.games/adventure/cmt21mabu0037l404tjn7c32u?ref=cmrmikhi800frl704k6ca84nl  Content warning: While I am a newbie player friendly DM/GM, the game I am running is a DEADLY game with a DEADLY dungeon; your characters have a high chance of dying. Please keep that in mind for this game. If you are not okay with character death, this may not be the game for you.  If you have any additional questions, please feel free to message me, and I will get back to you as soon as possible.  You can also get some more general information about me as a GM, as well as read previous player reviews through my Start Playing GM Profile here:  https://startplaying.games/gm/alexthedmpanda Looking forward to hearing from you soon!
