Description

This puzzle adventure follows an enigmatic archmage and musician who uses magic and music to create a demiplane of memories. The hall is a place filled with echoes of the past, carefully crafted illusions brought to life. Your guide Anari invites/summons visitors into this space, giving them the opportunity to earn an audience with the archmage...unbenown to him. Characters must solve a number of puzzle rooms to obtain the memory's Song Sphere. When enough Song Spheres from the rooms have been obtained the path to The Composer will open. An audience with the archmage allows the players to ask him one question each that he will answer truthfully to his knowledge before sending them home/elsewhere. I run this as a 2 random room one shot or a 5-6 session short adventure.  I am always looking for players to run through this to test with.
This adventure is meant to be an emotive piece and includes some darker themes such as depression, addiction and death. I want everyone to feel comfortable and safe, so if these themes are not something you want to engage with this may not be the game for you. The dungeon can be run all as all 10 rooms chronologically or as shorter sessions where only a few of the rooms are done. I will decide with the groups which format they would like to play. The Project This is built off a wider story I wrote and ran from a different platform that I am currently working to convert to vTTRPG. I have spent over 130 hours DMing this dungeon and far far more building the initial sets and remaking them as maps. At this stage the focus is primarily on the puzzles so I can improve the maps, hint system and gauge pacing and difficulty for VTTRPG. There is NO COMBAT in these initial one shots, it will be introduced in later versions. It is designed so that it works as a stand alone  short adventure or modular to fit the needs of a larger campaign. I aim to create an emotive experience that utilises music to enhance both the storytelling and the atmosphere while tugging at your heart strings. The project is still a WIP, so feedback will be asked for.  The Game I am looking for players who enjoy puzzles and emotive storytelling, new or experienced alike.

-Discord - Voice is required. Time and Date will be worked out with the groups If you have any questions feel free to DM me or ask in the comments below If you are applying as a group I need individual responses and a group name to link you all up. Disclaimer: Please note: This adventure does utilise Suno generated songs for the completion of each room. I understand that the use of AI might not be everyone’s cup of tea. If you’re not comfortable with that aspect, I totally respect it and just ask that you keep in mind this project isn’t for everyone and refrain from making it an issue. If you’re okay with it, I’d love to have you on board. While I am working on trying to have them remade by humans this is an expensive and slow process.

Your character starts off in the city before heading to the quaint town of Phandalinguided by a cast of fully voiced locals, you'll race against time to find one of your oldest friends and uncover one of the region's oldest secrets. In a slow burn mystery campaign with high stakes, every decision matters. Your choices could mean your name is sung by every bard from Icewind Dale to Baldur's Gate, or it could mean this mystery buries you as another forgotten story. Your time in Faerun doesn't end once the BBEG has been dealt with. As a group you can decide what adventure follows next: Phandelver and Below, Dragon of Icespire Peak or a homebrew creation of my very own. -Play as any race/class combination from the official published works -Expect immersive sound and fully voiced cast of NPCs -Recorded sessions to look back on our adventure -Free session 0 and additional GM time if needed

House rules, a custom setting, or a system the Game Master wrote themselves.
The City never sleeps, and as a Moonlighter, niether will you! MOONLIGHTERS is a high-stakes Dungeons and Dragons campaign set in a fantastical version of the modern day. The players take the role of Moonlighters - part time adventurers who operate after dark. Are you a college dropout Elf? A pixie attorney specialising in Magic Item law? A gnome taxi driver? Whatever your reason, while the city sleeps, you Adventure! Players will form an Adventuring Party, working the Adventuring gig economy in the Big City. They'll choose from available jobs, meet wacky clients, and co-operatively worldbuild and expand on the city with the DM in the process. Will you stage an elaborate heist at the Museum of Villainy? Fix a Wizard Duel for a down-and-out gambler? Explore the forgotten catacombs of the public graveyard? It's up to you! More here: https://startplaying.games/adventure/cmq7tyim4007bjs04bh2hluyy?q=moonlighters  Each of the player characters will have a day job, which will be narratively incorporated into the story. If your single dad Orc is an accountant by day. maybe they'll notice some irregularities in the companies magical accounts. If they're an exhausted sound technician for a bratty DJ, maybe they'll have some connections to the shadier side of the city. During a Session 0, we will all discuss the general tone of the game the players are in the mood for. Player characters could all be friends fresh out of college, living out a coming-of-age Jon Hughes movie (with oozes and werewolves), a group of reluctant oddballs flung together in a workplace comedy, or desperate individuals just trying to make ends meet in a brutal, unforgiving city. The choice will be communal, and can always evolve with the narrative. I will discuss privately what each player wants to see, and what they never want to see in game. I'll make sure everyone is on the same page without drawing attention to any individual player's needs. The games is $20 per session via Startplaying. Alternatively, you can message me if you would rather pay another way.
