Update log - July 2026 “Time to schedule”

Hope you are all having a nice summer. While we haven't been bombarding the site with massive updates these past few months, we have been working on things in the background. Just to keep you all somewhat updated and ensured, that we are still actively working on the platform - here is a brief update and check-in. Minor improvements Every now and then we have pushed new and small updates to the platform. Just today, we finally got around to implementing the time & day scheduling to the game posts. So if you have a game post running, be sure to edit it and add the days you are planning on running the game, and at what time the session would be starting. Players looking for games will be also able to filter the groups based on those parameters. Do keep in mind that since the feature is new, almost all of the games listed at the moment are still without a preferred day and time - so they will not be shown to you when you use the filter. But as time goes on and games update their listing, more and more will have those elements. Additionally a few updates were added to the game post creation process - nothing gamebreaking or -changing. Just some convenience factors. .gg We have officially shifted to a new primary web address (although you are free to keep using whichever domain ending you have before - nothing should be negatively affected. But Groupfinder can now be also accessed via groupfinder.gg Even though the platform is global - having the .eu ending seemed to cause more confusion than we had anticipated. But this is more of a cosmetic change - nothing in our core values or goals has changed as a part of this shift. Library evergrowing The library is rapidly growing - every week new entries are added. Some thanks to the help of a few volunteers, to whom we are extremely grateful. It is becoming a proper tabletop gaming resource now. But it will never be complete - we are seeing new tabletop projects and creators pop up all the time - and we would love to be a gateway between them and you. Group Manager This is the biggest element we have been working on since the start of the year (and even before). While not ready to go live - we are anticipating that the day is drawing ever closer by every week and testing cycle. Group manager will be a parallel mode to Groupfinder - a system to manage your.. well.. group. Keep track of timefinder polls to schedule the next session. Share files with your players - or make them private, so that only you can see them - or only some of the players. This will make it easier to keep track of various notes, lore and character backstories. Or just share gifs.. Also a viable approach. But until we have anything more substantial to report - I will be signing off for now. But will keep a watchful and helpful eye on the platform. And if you have a friend or a group that could benefit from using Groupfinder - be sure to tell them about the site - it will be a win-win situation. The more people know about Groupfinder, the faster your games get filled - and the faster you find a group to join. Till next time.

The era of mortals is coming to a close. Time, once a flowing and vast fact of life, is being eaten away by a divine stasis known as The Fog. More than half of the planet and its people have been swallowed by it now, leaving a sparse few beacons of light in the ever growing darkness. Our story begins in the 11th month of the year 3046PS, roughly 60 years after the first sightings of The Fog, as one of the final refugee ships from the west dock in the port city of Punto de Partida. Snow falls upon our fated party as they’re engulfed by the anxious city and its people, having only themselves to fend for against a world nearly frozen. You, dear survivor, live while the timer of the end ticks down. What will you do in the final years of mortals? Will you spend them ignoring the inevitable and indulging in what little comforts are left, or will despair halt you even before stasis arrives? Or maybe you have hope of a miracle, be it from the gods or crafted by your own hands. Just how much, I wonder, would you be willing to lose to save the world? [This campaign is set to be a long-term, slowburn story focused on character development and roleplay. Much of its world, people and cultures are open for players to imagine and make their own, making it perfect for players who love world building and crafting intricate backstories. The story will cover many of the expected topics for a pre/mid apocalyptic setting, as well as heavy themes such as classism, genocide, xenophobia and racisim/speciesism. Other sensitive topics may be covered barring any content that players can choose to veto; my goal as a DM is to make an immersive and realistic world while showing utmost respect to my players while doing so. This campaign will be offline only and is planned to be held at a game store in los angeles, and I’m looking to hold it Thursday, Friday or Saturday nights with times between 4pm-9pm.]

Ash
Hey! I'm Ash, a nonbinary adult from California who's a big fan of things like Percy Jackson, Warhammer 40K, Star Wars/Star Trek, Hazbin Hotel, Murder Drones (and other GLITCH shows), and Wings of Fire. I like to play more casual, laid-back games - as in, not insanely serious, where a more silly character doesn't stand out too much. For example, a Southern tiefling bard whose favorite instrument is the fiddle, or a combo warlock-cleric, or even a warforged cleric of the forge. That being said, I am perfectly willing and able to create more serious characters if the setting leans that way. What I'm trying to say is, I'm pretty flexible in my character-making. I tend to play characters with well-thought-out backstories, and usually add in a quirk or two that sets them apart - along with a bit of myself, of course. I enjoy good roleplay, although I may have trouble with it myself, and I love a good combat. A lot of my past characters have been more combat-oriented, but even so, I still try to create interesting backstories and social interactions with them. I've been playing D&D for at least four or five years now, since before 5.5e, and I'm much more familiar with 5e than 5.5e. Also, I thoroughly enjoy helping to teach or actually teaching new people how to play. I'm almost always available to play on weekends between 10AM PST and 5PM PST, and would much prefer online games over in-person for this kind of thing.

Greetings from the Midwest! I'm a veteran gamer with 40 years in the hobby, 34 of those behind the GM's screen off and on. I'm looking for players for anything besides D&D 5e. In the past I've run games in a variety of genres and systems including: D6 Star Wars, Call of Cthulhu (various editions), King Arthur Pendragon (4th edition), Star Trek TNG (Last Unicorn Games edition), Traveller (Mongoose 1e), Beyond the Wall, Dragonbane, The One Ring, and others. Currently, I'm looking to run Mongoose Traveller 2e (game announcement forthcoming). My gaming style is story over rules with roleplaying and combat fairly balanced (50/50), depending on the group's responses and tendencies. I am willing to game with teens (13-18), but only with a gaming family member at the table (virtual or real) for accountability all around. I will discuss lines, veils, and triggers with players before gameplay, preserving player privacy when and where necessary. I am very picky with storytelling and the type of game I run, and I do care about everybody - my players and myself - having a good time. So if you're looking to take a step into a wider universe, or even just beyond the dungeon, shoot me a message. You can read more about my gaming style and expectations here.

Zephir1991
Hi, I’m Zephir1991. I’ve been enjoying tabletop roleplaying games for around 16 years, with Dungeons & Dragons being my main passion. I both play and host games online, mainly through Discord, with a small group of players that meet weekly. Right now I’m running several campaigns including: • Chains of Asmodeus (On pause) • Critical Role: Call of the Netherdeep (Saturdays) • Out of the Abyss (Mondays) • Icewind Dale (Wednesdays) My usall play time is 8pm (CET norwegian time) and usally play for up to 3 hours. I’m also currently a player in a homebrew story off call of chuthulu.(Fridays) And a homebrewed game called danger at gravehill as a player (Sundays) I’m always happy to chat with fellow players, meet new people, or welcome listeners who simply want to sit in and experience a session. My Discord is open to both new and experienced players. I’m also interested in meeting people locally for in-person games, either to host or join a table, so if you're nearby and enjoy tabletop games, feel free to reach out. If you're interested, send me a message and I’ll share my Discord link.

Setting and Themes of Prosperon Prosperon is a tabletop role-playing game set in a dystopian future where towering megacorporation’s have tightened their hold on society, reducing human existence to data points within an immense, profit-driven machine. In this harsh environment, a resistance force known as the Vanguard emerges, determined to challenge the expanding corporate regime. Depending on the campaign style, players may choose to operate as Vanguard insurgents or take on the role of independent freelancers known as operators navigating the same oppressive world. Vanguard and Player Roles Players who join the Vanguard step into the lives of operatives tasked with undertaking high-risk missions aimed at restoring autonomy and awakening a population numbed by corporate dominance. These operatives rely on advanced technology, tactical expertise, and sheer determination as they work to expose corruption, outmaneuver authoritarian forces, and spark a rebellion capable of reshaping entire cities.  World and Tone Blending cyberpunk and biopunk influences, Prosperon presents a setting defined by genetic augmentation, societal decay, and technological overreach. The game emphasizes narrative depth, strategic decision-making, and immersive storytelling. Its adaptable mechanics are designed to support accessibility and player creativity, allowing groups to tailor the experience to their preferred style of play. Themes of Resistance At its core, Prosperon invites players to explore the struggle between human agency and corporate control. Whether forging alliances, leading uprisings, or navigating the moral complexities of survival, players ultimately determine whether humanity can reclaim its future, or collapse further into engineered servitude. Character sheets
Pathfinder 2E
Pathbuilder 2e is the premier digital character builder and sheet for Pathfinder Second Edition. Created by David Wilson (Redrazors), it is celebrated for its speed, near-perfect rules accuracy, and its comprehensive support for the game’s vast library of content. In a significant move for 2025 and 2026, the app finally expanded beyond Android and Web to include a native iOS and iPadOS release, making it accessible across the entire mobile ecosystem. Description Pathbuilder 2e is the "gold standard" for Pathfinder players who want to navigate the system's deep customization without choice paralysis. It tracks every feat, spell, and proficiency bonus from level 1 to 20, ensuring that characters remain rules-legal at every step. While it lacks the high-budget "Nexus" features of competitors like Demiplane, its utility is unmatched; it allows for rapid "theory-crafting" of builds and exports directly to PDF or Foundry VTT. It is widely considered a mandatory tool for anyone playing PF2e regularly. System Overview & Key Features Comprehensive Rules Integration The app is updated with incredible speed, usually incorporating new Paizo releases—like the 2025/2026 Remastered books and playtests—within days of their launch. It includes every ancestry, class, and archetype available in the game, automatically filtering options based on what your character qualifies for. Level-Up Planning One of its most loved features is the ability to plan a character's entire progression ahead of time. You can select your feats for level 15 while your character is still level 1, creating a "roadmap" that makes leveling up during a session as simple as tapping a single button. Cloud Saving and Syncing For users who unlock the full version, Pathbuilder offers cloud storage via Google Drive. This allows you to start a build on your desktop browser during your lunch break and pull it up on your phone or tablet at the gaming table later that evening. Variant Rule Support The paid version unlocks support for popular optional rulesets, such as Free Archetype, Ancestry Paragon, and Gradual Ability Boosts. These toggles allow groups to use the most common community-standard house rules with zero manual math. Pet and Companion Management Managing familiars, animal companions, and eidolons is a core part of Pathfinder. Pathbuilder provides dedicated tabs for these entities (in the paid version), tracking their specific stats, barding, and special abilities alongside the main hero. VTT and PDF Export The app features a robust export system. You can generate a clean, official-looking PDF character sheet or use "JSON" exports to import your character directly into Foundry VTT or Roll20 using community-made modules, saving hours of data entry.
